How to set up and manage your display and your data for easy and efficient use.

GO:

... clicking the Home page "Tutorials" link, or a "Tutorial" link from any other ADU page will take you to...

  • ...the "How to use ADU tutorials" page. To use these tutorials as they were designed to be used, It is necessary to have two windows open on screen at the same time, and to re-arrange them on your "Desktop" in a particular way...follow these steps...

  • ...but first:

the usual way to have two (or more) Web Browser pages open at the same time is to click on "NEW" under File in the main Menu bar...
then type or copy / paste or select an URL for the address bar... and click enter.

Some browsers will duplicate the page that is already open.

We've shortened this process to save time
...so...

  • ...to have two windows open CLICK HERE...this action opens ADU in a new window...

  • ...and so there are now two pages open on your screen:

    1. the new copy of ADU's Home page...

      and

    2. this, the already open "How to use ADU Tutorials" page...

  • ...now drag the "Tutorials" page to the right of the screen...
and drag the "Home" page to the left so that both overlap. Click between them and adjust the overlap until it's right.
Make sure the Tutorial's right scroll-bar is in view at all times...
and likewise, the bottom horizontal scroll-bar of the left page.

  • Note: this arrangement will allow you to work on a search, a submission, or an edit...
    with a "how-to" and a "why-so" aid nearby...
click between the two ("toggle") as you scroll down through the sequence of steps.

  • Note: all the tutorials have the same format and will slot into this overlap.
