MASTER CLASS CHINESE BRUSH PAINTING with artist Franz (Chi Lik) Cheung

Morning session - Basic Chinese calligraphy

Afternoon session – Spring Plum Flower ink painting

Mr. Chi Lik Cheung was born in Hong Kong & completed his Masters Degree (MSA) from Sydney College of Arts in 2006. He is a practicing artist and currently a tutor of Chinese brush art at Macquarie University. Franz (Chi Lik) Cheung is the president of the Australian Oriental Calligraphy Society and guest tutor at the AGNSW. He specialises in ink painting, calligraphy and seal carving and also examines cultural history in scripts and artefacts, investigating the role of classical arts in contemporary daily life.

Cost includes materials, lunch, tuition & entry to Yin Yang: China in Australia

All ages and levels, beginners to advanced welcome. Numbers strictly limited.
